Homewood Living

Homewood embraces the person-centered approach to residential senior living. Gone are the cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all program choices. Instead, Homewood offers a plethora of options from which to choose, so that individual interests can be maintained and pursued.

Events and Activities

Musical performances and dinner theatres. Bocce and shuffleboard. Cooking demonstrations and book discussions. Whether the activities are planned and executed through Homewood’s staff, or are initiated by residents, there is something for everyone. Be as active and involved as you’d like, or simply relax in a quiet nook with a cup of tea and a good book.

Dining

Homewood offers two dining venues for residents and guests, both of which offer a wide variety of delicious homemade foods and delectable desserts made from scratch each day in our own bakery. The Olive Branch is located in the Northview Building and offers a more home-like atmosphere, where residents can choose from not only the daily specials, but also a selection of “always offered” items. With extended hours of operation, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily, residents have more flexibility to choose when to dine. The Terrace Café is located in the Southview building and features fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, weekly specials and a variety of desserts and beverages. In addition, special events such as picnics, holiday meals and other special dining opportunities are offered from time to time.

Wellness

A variety of services are available to encourage and promote a preventative outlook to our residents’ health and well-being. The swimming pool and fitness center are available for residents to utilize individually or to participate in the various exercise and aquatic groups that are offered each week

Spiritual Care

Homewood’s two Chaplains are a visible presence and provide weekly worship services, spiritual activities, visitation and support to all of Homewood’s residents across all levels of care. The Bice Memorial Chapel, constructed in 2016, is an inviting space where worship services are held. Area clergy participate in the religious life of the Homewood community as well, through weekly vespers services and monthly Lutheran communion services and Catholic masses.

A Culture of Giving

Homewood is grateful for the many people who support the mission of Homewood.
